CDK Troubleshooting – Special Characters
Sometimes when you try to link the customer you will get an error about special characters or license missing. Here are a few things that are often required by CDK:
- The license plate must be entered, and the letters must be in CAPS.
- Avoid special characters like “*”, “@”, ”.” in the name and address fields.
- The zipcode must be a valid zip code, if you leave it blank or incorrect it may give you a country code error.
- An e-mail address may be required. If it is, it must have a “@” and “.” in the address, it checks the format
