Creating A Repair Order
CREATING A REPAIR ORDER
There are three ways to create a Repair Order in Express:
1. Creating a new RO from the RO list box
Select the Insert button on the RO list. This will create a new RO with the default billing and
damage profiles. Fill out any required fields then hit OK to save the RO.
The user may now import an estimate. See “Importing into an existing RO”.
2. Creating a new RO with the Copy RO button
This is used for re-using returning customer’s contact and vehicle information.
First, find their previous RO in the RO list box.
Highlight the RO and press the Copy RO button.
Verify the information in the customer screen is correct and fill in any missing or required
information.
Press OK and the RO will be created. Import the estimate from as explained in the “Importing
into a RO” section.
3. Creating a RO through the Calendar
Open the calendar appointment and click Convert at the bottom center of the window.
The RO number will be the next sequential number in the RO list.
