Common issues found that need to be corrected:

  • 1.) Vehicles behind “today” on the calendar
  • 2.) Not dating out delivered vehicles the day it is delivered (unable to accurately age receivables)
  • 3.) Creating a repair order for a job that should only be an appointment or assignment

 

Recommendations: See Rome’s Canons of Success

  • *(Customer Service) All drivable preorders that did not show up should be rescheduled before lunch
  • *(Customer Service) The calendar is maintained for assignments, appointments, & drivable preorders. Making sure that these are “never behind today” on the calendar.
  • *(Administration) Always have tickets reviewed before the car goes to paint.
