How Can We Help?

Scheduling Drop-Off and Delivery

You are here:
< All Topics

1.) Drop-offs should be scheduled in 15-30-minute increments in the morning. Do not overlap several drop-offs for one estimator at a time.

2.) Depending on how many estimators you have, allow for 2-3 drop-offs per estimator. Rome requires that you blueprint within 1-3 hours of the vehicle being dropped off. If you have 3 drop-offs for an estimator, this allows for the morning to get those accomplished.

3.) We have the common notion that we “need to bring in a lot of work on a Monday” but that is not the case. This will cause bottlenecks in staging and extend cycle time.

4.) Delivery times can also be scheduled 15-30-minute increments. We should be setting this expectation for the customer at drop-off, so they can make plans to pick up their vehicle.

5.) Your paperwork should be completed before the car goes into paint. This will make for an easier delivery process.
